SCHOLARSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT
The Ministry of Agriculture through the Alliance for a Green Revolution in Africa (AGRA) is currently seeking applications from qualified Liberians to undertake graduate studies (Masters of Science Degree) in the areas of Plant Breeding and Seed Technology at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana for the period of two years. Candidates must hold a B.Sc. degree in agriculture or related field of study from a recognized University. The course work and research will focus on the following West African food crops: cereals (maize, sorghum and millet); root and tubers (cassava, yam and sweet potato)a; legumes (cow pea and groundnuts); and vegetables (tomato and pepper). Successful candidates will receive financial support to cover tuition, stipend, research cost and thesis preparation for the program.
