Gender and Social Development
Gender and Social Development Division:
The Gender Division focuses on mainstreaming gender considerations into all aspects of agricultural development planning and implementation. It aims to address gender disparities in access to resources, decision-making power, employment opportunities, and participation in agricultural value chains. This division promotes women’s empowerment in agriculture by providing training programs, advocating for gender-sensitive policies, conducting gender analysis studies, and ensuring women’s inclusion in decision-making processes within the agriculture sector.
